Hemant brings decades of valuable experience in strategy and growth, manufacturing, supply chain, organization and people, marketing and sales. Before starting his incredible journey at Adani Enterprise Ltd., he worked with Tata Steel for many years and eventually retired as the Managing Director in 2013. During his illustrious career he has added many feathers to his cap, including awards like National Metallurgist (Ferrous Metallurgy) in 1987, Best CEO of the Year Award -2011 conferred by the Indian Institute of Materials Management (IIMM) and many more.
Presently, he serves on multiple boards of prestigious institutions. Some of them include Mumbai International Airport Limited (Chair & Independent Director), Adani Enterprises Ltd (Independent Director & Chair of Audit Committee), Trust Asset Management Private Limited (Director) among many others.
