We at Guwahati Airport following various precautionary measures to ensure the safety of our personnel and passengers to prevent COVID-19 spread. These include:

• No enrty without Face Mask;
• Availability of hand sanitizers at all touch points;
• Regular sanitization of assets at all touch points;
• Arrangement for proper disposing of used masks, face shields etc.
• We have displayed various signages across the terminal showing precautionary measures to avoid Covid-19 spread and promote awareness among the staffs & the passengers.

Frequent announcements are made to ensure the passengers are wearing facemask and following COVID protocols.

Frequent sanitization is being carried out across the terminal. In addition, sanitizer dispensers are placed at prominent locations of the terminal.

Please note, In case the passenger violates COVID protocols or refuses to wear mask even after repeated warnings then the following actions would be taken:-

• Passenger without a facemask will not be permitted to enter the terminal. CISF personnel deployed at the entrance of the Airport will ensure that no one is allowed to enter the Airport without wearing a mask.
• At the airport, he/she can be fined as per the State Law and he/she may be handed over to Security Agencies for dealing with the matter as per the applicable law on the Subject.
• Before departure the passenger can be deboarded. 4) During the course of the flight such passenger may be treated as "unruly passenger" and procedure in respect of handling such unruly passenger shall be followed by the concerned airline.

Passengers are advised to wear facemask properly and continue to wear the mask throughout the journey inside the aircraft.

Porter service is available at LGBI Airport. You can visit the porter service counters located at the Terminal Forecourt

There is one public toilet available outside at the arrival exit area. You can pay & use it.

We advise our passengers to reach the airport 120 minutes or 2 hours prior to their departure for a hassle-free journey.

We do have a free Wifi network at the terminal that gives you access to the internet free for 120 minutes. Please note, the same can be accessed through a valid Indian number only.

passengers with international number can also avail free wi-fi with the help of coupon provided to them by Help Desk staff

In Arrival area, Wi-fi machine has been installed for pax convenience, through which they can avail free wi-fi coupon

Smoking is permitted only at the designated smoking zones located at SHA (first floor)

The terminal is open 24X7.

Yes, there are 2 Money Exchange Counters available at the airport, one at the departure and other one at the arrival.

Yes, there are total 3 ATM at the Airport. One SBI ATM at Departure (out), one Canara Bank ATM inside departure & one South Indian Bank ATM at the arrival exit area operating 24*7.

Parents of unaccompanied minors need to contact respective airlines for the handover procedure before check in. There is a procedure to be followed for Unaccompanied Minor (UNMR) OR Young Passenger (YP)

An unaccompanied minor is a child without the presence of a legal guarduian. This term is used in immigration law and in airline policies. Generally UMNR's age is considered to be from 5 to 11 years, however it may vary w.r.t. to Airline procedure. The specific definition varies from country to country and from airline to airline. Please check with the airline for further information.

Yes, there are two child care rooms available at the airport, equipped with changing facilities and other basic hygiene amenities. One at the departure SHA area and other at the entry of the Arrival gate next to the reserve lounge.

Yes, airport offers barrier free access for passengers. There are reserved parking slots, ramps & special rest rooms for passengers with special needs. In addition, wheelchairs are available at the departure ramp. Customer service executives at the airport assist and guide you. For further assistance, you are requested to contact your respective airline or the Airport Terminal Manager.

In most cases it is safe for women, with a normal pregnancy, to travel by air. However, a fitness certificate (certifying that the pregnant lady is fit to travel by air) is required by the concerned doctor. Women above 32 weeks pregnancy are not allowed to travel by air. For further information please contact your respective airline.

Yes, there is facility of visitors entry at the arrival exit area/Visitors area @80 per person/3 Hours.

Guwahati Airport is well equipped to provide services to passengers with reduced mobility and special needs. Airport wheel chair facility available at departure and arrival area. Passengers can contact respective airline staff or they can contact help desk present at both the departure & arrival sections for further help & guidance.

Duty-free shop is currently unavailable at the Guwahati International Airport.

Medicines in limited quantities which are necessary for the passenger during the journey, may be carried. For larger quantities a doctor’s prescription is mandatory. Please get in touch with the respective airline for more information.
Please note that liquids, aerosols and gels of up to 100 ml quantity only are permissible to be carried due to security reasons.

No, one has to follow the procedure of UNM (Unaccompanied Minor - upto 12 years) or YP (Young Passenger - upto 18 years) prescribed by the policy depending on the airline.

Yes, there are 2 child care rooms in the airport. One in the Departure-SHA & Other in the Arrival section.

The minimum age for children travelling alone varies between 5 and 16, depending on the airline. Please get in touch with the airline for more information.
