The Adani Ahmedabad Marathon, organized by the Adani Group, is a premier annual marathon recognized by the Athletics Federation of India (AFI). Since its inception in 2017, it has grown into one of India’s most eagerly awaited running events, successfully completing its eighth edition in November 2024.
The Adani Ahmedabad Marathon is the only run from Ahmedabad featured on the ‘Global Marathon Event List – AIMS World Running’, earning widespread admiration for its scenic and picturesque routes. The event features multiple race categories, including the Full Marathon (42.195 KM), Half Marathon (21.097 KM), 10 KM Run, and 5 KM Run. Over the years, it has witnessed steadily growing participation, establishing itself as one of the most popular races in India.
Since its inception, the marathon has championed the theme #Run4OurSoldiers, honoring the dedication and sacrifices of India’s Armed Forces. In 2024, the event drew over 20,000 runners, marking another remarkable and successful edition.
